Nothing matters more than the safety and wellbeing of your child. At Smart Steps, child safety isn't a policy in a drawer — it's built into every decision, every room and every day.
Our commitments
- Everyone is checked. All educators and staff hold current Working With Children Checks, and we follow rigorous recruitment and induction practices.
- Active, hands-on supervision. Our educators are present and attentive, with sightlines and routines designed so no child is ever unaccounted for.
- Secure access and sign-in. Entry is controlled, and every arrival and departure is recorded digitally through the OWNA app. [Confirm access-control details.]
- Health, allergies and medical care. Individual health, allergy and medical plans are documented and followed, with our in-house chef briefed on every dietary need.
- A child-safe culture. We listen to children, take every concern seriously, and maintain clear, accessible pathways for families to raise anything at any time.
